TILT – Show and Tell

I couldn’t be more excited. L’s preschool class is starting Show and Tell this week. We purchased these tote bags for each of our kids that have the school name. Each week, on Mondays, the kids in her preschool class stamp a letter of the alphabet onto the bag. Then on Wednesday they bring the bag home and we have to place 2 or 3 things that begin with that letter in the bag for Friday’s show and tell. It’s all very exciting for our little world existence. Anyway tomorrow is the first day and so we begin with the letter A. I didn’t want to just send her with an apple, that’s so boring and I am not a boring person by nature. So instead we came up with Ariel (the one she bought in Disney World) and a scrapbook layout of pictures of her with her Godmother Angel. It’s all I can come up with for now but good enough. They are both things she loves so she shouldn’t have a hard time talking about them in front of everyone in her class.

I really think her teachers are brilliant for this idea. L is having trouble learning her letters and I think this might really help. Plus when she is done with the bag at the end of the year she can use it as a library book.

  1. Lily has show and tell this year too. And she does the letter thing every Thursday. Today they did M and she picked marker. How boring 🙂
