To vote or not to vote

I swear to never talk politics on my blog… this is all I have to say on the topic.

Of course I will vote but sometimes it seems like I am the only one who has a clear view of who needs to be president. Doesn’t the whole world revolve around me? :-) Just kidding. We just had the Barack Obama supporters ring our bell. That’s fine, I don’t care, they can all knock on my door and I will listen. JT listened, he doesn’t know who he’s going to vote for yet. I won’t tell you who I will vote for or not vote for but sometimes you just wonder who’s voting out there and who isn’t. Example: I voted for John Kerry last year. That didn’t seem to make a difference, but I will vote again this year and pray we aren’t as stupid as last time. One last thought: I wholeheartedly believe in separation of church and state, I’ll end it there.

Remember my opinion doesn’t count for much… just one vote.

  1. You know what though, you should really consider yourself as having 5 votes because only about 20% of the electorate bothers to get off their butt and actually go to the polls. You are really voting for the four other lazies who don’t go. That ought to make you feel better??

By the way - I’ll be praying right along with you on that one…

  2. True… thank you for the uplift. Funny how hard it is to not vent about politics when you have a strong opinion.
