100 Things

I saw this on another blog theDiaperDiaries and got really excited to try to fill in all 100 things. I will keep it updated until I am done. Ready… Set… Go…

1. My maiden name was a color - people used to ask how do you spell that?!

2. My middle name means “grassy hill” I am named after my great grandmother

3. I am 32 - even more of a useless age!

4. I’ve lived in St. Louis for 22 years

5. I have lived in 3 different cities, 2 different states

6. My favorite house growing up was in University City, St. Louis, MO

7. My parents were seperated a couple of months after I was married.

8. I have names picked out for kids I will never have - I’M DONE!!

9. I am addicted to scrapbooking, when I take a picture I can picture the scrapbook page in my head

10. When I eat M&M’s I have to eat two at a time and the colors have to match (that one was hard to admit)

11. When I was working I was an organized freak, now that I stay at home, not so much

12. I have 6 tattoos and I want 2 more

13. I have had my belly button pierced twice

14. I want to have my nose pierced, but I worry too much about what people will think, now that I am a mom

15. I love to travel

16. I get really stressed out when I travel (just ask my friends Michele & Doug)

17. I had an older half-brother named Greg, he died in a car crash when I was 10

18. So I am over protective of my younger brother

19. I hate being around drunk people

20. I love smoking… even though I don’t

21. I have exercise/stress induced asthma

22. I had a mardi gras themed wedding that people still talk about

23. I am obsessed with knowing the lyrics to my favorite songs

24. I like country music

25. I think that Josh Turner’s voice is the sexiest thing EVER (don’t worry JT knows)

26. The cutest person on TV is Anderson Cooper (I must have a thing about gray hair)

27. My kids watch TV and I don’t apologize for it

28. I don’t really care about germs… they don’t bother me, they should

29. I have a big mouth and say things I shouldn’t

30. I once worked at Barnes & Noble Cafe - the first one in St. Louis

31. My first car was a Suzuki Sidekick that I totaled on my graduation day (high school)

32. I drive way too fast

33. My last speeding ticket was this year but before that I hadn’t gotten one since 1995

34. I didn’t go to college

35. I went to secretarial school

36. I hate school, I was bad at every subject

37. My grandmother paid to send me and my cousins to manners class when we were younger and we goofed around the entire time

38. I have been to London and France with my grandparents and my cousin A

39. I miss my grandfather everyday, he meant a lot to me and my kids

40. I still have 3 grandparents

41. I am a magazine junkie

42. I love vanilla flavored coffee from Quiktrip

43. I hate beer

44. I love wine and margaritas

45. I am very emotional, I will cry at songs and commercials

46. I tend to be a hypochondriac

47. My favorite TV night is Friday

48. Two shows I can’t miss are Ghost Whisperer and Men in Trees, I record them on my DVR and then wait for the kids to go to bed and JT to retreat to the PC on Friday nights

49. I HATE one of my dogs

50. My biggest fear is one of my kids or my hubby dying

51. I love to play board games

52. Everytime I hear Rascal Flatt’s What Hurts the Most I get goosebumps and a lump in my throat

53. I listen to my mom’s opinion more than my poor husband’s

54. I have only had 7 hours of labor total; 6 with L and 1 with J

55. I had J naturally - not by choice, he came to fast

56. JT and I tried to get pregnant for 5 years

57. I want to collect all Disney movies when they are “released from the vault”

58. I collect Department 56 Snow Village, Halloween Snow Village & the North Pole Village series, I am proud of my collection. I collect it with my mom.

60. It turns my hubby on when I talk sports - hehe

61. L and J have both had their picture, at different times, on Show Me St. Louis

62. My kids are only 16 months apart… L was only 8 months old when I found out I was pregnant again

63. I cried a lot and was SO scared when I found out I was pregnant with J, I look back now and laugh - what would the world be without J in it

64. I didn’t breastfeed my kids and I don’t believe that I should be judged because of that

65. Sometimes when I yell at my son I accidentally call him our dog’s name (our dog got yelled at a lot before J)

66. I enjoy watching Charlie and Lola as much as my daughter, we watch it together

67. My kids are always better dressed than me

68. My dream job would be working at a scrapbooking magazine picking out the submissions for an issue

69. My favorite girls night out is sitting with friends scrapbooking and sipping some coffee while I get to also shop for scrapbooking stuff - Scrap Mania at Archivers!!!!

70. I can sing every Wiggles song by heart

71. I am a thrill seeker

72. I love shellfish but hate fish

73. My favorite meal is Chicken n’ Dumplings

74. My favorite smell is my kids after a bath

75. The last concert I went to was a Wiggles concert - sad I know

76. I hate to clean

77. I have no bedside manner

78. I hate being sick 

79. But, I like to be taken care of from time to time who doesn’t

80. I can be a shy person

81. I have a ton of pet peeves

82. Like inconsiderate drivers, especially the ones that you let over and they don’t wave thank you, please this is probably the nicest thing I am going to do all day, couldn’t you at least say thank you.

85. I LOVE Christmas, I get so excited to do all the festive things our city has to offer

86. I was born on Easter and I won’t have a birthday on Easter again for 100 years

87. My daughter L was almost born on Easter we missed it by an hour and a half

88. I have to research everything to exhaustion… like our car, kids toys, EVERYTHING.

89. My husband and I only dated 8 months before we got engaged

90. We were married 7 months later

91. I was a secretary for the group JT worked in at AGE

92. We live in a 3 bedroom duplex that my mom owns

93. My brother lives downstairs

94. I am double jointed

95. I already have arthritis

96. I type really fast

97. I loved my last job and miss it sometimes

98. But I wouldn’t give up my dream of being a stay at home mom for anything

99. I went to Lutheran grade school, middle school and high school and don’t go to church

100. I chew on my fingernails and cuticles while I watch movies
